Hi — I'm Dong Kyu Lim, a software engineer based in Washington State. I hold a Master's in Information Management from the University of Washington, where I also completed my Bachelor's in Informatics. My academic background gave me a strong foundation in both the technical and human-centered aspects of computing, which I apply to my work every day.
I specialise in building scalable backend systems and APIs, with hands-on experience in Go, Python, and cloud infrastructure. I've worked on everything from real-time multiplayer games to AI-powered apps to malware detection models.
Outside of code I enjoy baseball, golf, and cooking — and yes, this site is self-hosted on a Raspberry Pi.
